In mid-August, Covid-19 broke out drastically in Ejina Qi, a city in the Western end of PR China and neibor with the People’s republic of Mongolia. Almost 100 cases were confired daily. Soon the city was locked down, with 10,000 tourists and 320, 000 local citizens confined inside.

As a CT manufacturer, having supported hundreds of hospitals fighting covid-19 for two years, SinoVision realized the critical situation in Ejina and the urgent need for CT scanning for Covid-19 screening and diagnosis. A series of actions were taken, so as to help the Covid-19 relief work:

48-hour delivery

Upon receiving the field CT order, SinoVision manufacturing factory went full steam ahead, and delivered the field CT system within 48 hours.

Countermarching 3000 kms  

Due to the lockdown, transportation was restricted to Covid-19 areas. Meticulous consideration has been made for both the cargo truck and supporting team to enable fast and safe transportation. A total of 3000 kms have been travelled from Yangzhou, where the field CT were assembled, to Ejina. The service engineer and training specialist spent a whole day and a whole night on the way.

SinoVision Field CT was designed and developed for the Covid-19 screening and diagnosis with a lot of measures taken to ensure safety for both patients and clinicians. The Field CT is not restricted by environment, and can be formed a rather independent and isolated place. Separate isles are designed for patients and clinicians to prevent cross-infection.
